ABOUT
I am a designer graduating from Converse College in December 2019 with an individualized BA called Design Engineering. I was born in Stony Brook, NY on March 16th, 1998. At a young age, I moved to Mooresville, NC where most of my work has been created at South Iredell IB High School. Generally, I work with used materials preferably metal and wood to create sculptures and furniture. My high school portfolio and detailed sketchbook landed me an art scholarship at Converse College allowing me to continue growing my abilities. For my most recent piece, I bent and welded metal poles to create a 3D outline of an octopus with the idea of using it in a garden to shape a plant. Currently, I am working with used car parts to build modern industrial furniture with a graph theory concept for my senior capstone project.
